How do I transport pocket barometers?

Provided there is no mercury thermometer then these can travel by post, car or air with little ill effect. If there is a mercury thermometer then they can not be sent by air (mercury is banned on aircraft because it is corrosive to aluminium) If sending by carrier they should be suitable packaged for dropping etc
